Cameo Robert Loggia: (at around 33 mins) As General William Grey. Loggia reprised his role from the original Independence Day (1996). 2) cameo appearance by Robert Loggia. Sadly Loggia passed away back in December. He gets an "in memoriam" in the end credits. 3) Brent Spiner's absolutely brilliant comic relief in his repeat role of Dr. Okun. Another flick where I could count the people in the audience on the fingers of one hand.
