Tacoma’s annual Fourth of July event is taking place this year on Dune Peninsula and the Ruston Way Waterfront. The City of Tacoma and Metro Parks Tacoma plan to feature more than 150 vendors, two stages, and a 20-minute firework display at one of the largest free July 4 community events in the region. Here are two local public events you can check out: 🎇 Lacey Fireworks Spectacular 📍 Rainier Vista Park – 5475 45th Ave SE, Lacey 📅 Thursday, July 3 🕓 Event: 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. | 🎆 Fireworks begin at 10:00 p.m. 🎆 Tumwater Family Festival & Nisqually Red Wind Casino Fireworks Show 📍 Tumwater Valley Golf Course – 4611 Lacey The annual Lacey Fireworks Spectacular is set for Thursday, July 3, and features live entertainment, rides, face painting and, of course, a night of fireworks. The free festival is set for 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is located at Rainier Vista Community Park. The fireworks begin at 10 p.m. As the saying goes, summer in Seattle starts July 5. This year is looking different, with a dry and sunny week leading up to Independence Day. Rain or shine, this month is packed with red, white and blue fun, sandcastle contests, lots of community events, music festivals and multicultural celebrations. The Lacey Fireworks Spectacular at Rainier Vista Park on July 03 from 4:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Parking lot opens 3PM. Lacey Fireworks Spectacular The annual Lacey Fireworks Spectacular is always celebrated the day before Independence Day. It is at Rainier Vista Community Park, 5475 45th Ave. SE, Lacey.
