PRINSBURG — Hues of red, white and blue highlighted the downtown streets of Prinsburg on Saturday as the small community held its annual Fourth of July celebration. (Prinsburg MN-) Prinsburg has a lot planned today for the Fourth of July weekend. There will be a golf scramble, ice cream social, Freedom Fun Run, Adam's Race, fireworks, community dinner, silent auction, bean bag toss tournament, pedal tractor pull, parade and more. (Prinsburg MN-) The City of Prinsburg is celebrating The Fourth of July today with the Freedom Fun Run, patriotic church service, a free-will pork dinner at the high school, inflatables in the field northeast of the elementary building, 6 p.m. parade, kids tractor pedal pull, lawn games, music and July in the Willmar Lakes Area is bursting with fun, family-friendly events and festive summer vibes! From small-town charm to lakeside adventures, this month is packed with celebrations, concerts, outdoor activities, and local traditions you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re catching fireworks over Green Lake, tapping your toes at Music in the Park, or cheering at a quirky boat relay on The Fourth of July celebration in Prinsburg will be on Saturday, June 29. Festivities begin with the Freedom Fun Run at 8 a.m., which has a 2.5-mile running route and 1.5-mile walking route.
