The commission is not part of the City of Pleasant Hill and is an all volunteer non-profit organization that was formed in 1976 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the United States. Perrysville Pleasant Hill Lake Park will feature July 4-6 activities including live music, Movie at the Lake, and a hot dog eating contest. They will not have a fireworks show on the 4th.
