OTHELLO — The Greater Othello Chamber of Commerce will kick off its annual Independence Day celebration July 4 at 10 a.m. with a parade down Main Street before moving to Lions Park for an OTHELLO — The Othello Chamber of Commerce is providing fireworks to cap the city’s Fourth of July celebration. Executive Director Jackie Wilhelm said the city’s day-long celebration typically attracts thousands of people and the fireworks are set to be ignited at 10 p.m. at the city’s Lions Park baseball field, 815 E. Pine St. OTHELLO — July 4 in Othello drew a crowd to watch the parade and the fireworks, play in the sports tournaments, listen to live music, look at the entries in the car show. The festival consists of several running evengts, 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, tennis tournaments, baseball games, fire-truck pull and many contests with prizes.
