The Fun Run is a 1-mile course running through downtown, into Thoroughbred Park, and joining with the Bluegrass 10,000 for the finish. The races kick off the day’s Fourth of July festivities. The Fourth of July parade steps off at noon and will move down Main Street from Midland to Mill Street. There will be plenty of red, white and blue to get everyone in the patriotic spirit. Enjoy the parade from the sideline, or register ahead of time if you wish to participate. We are excited to debut the Lexington Pride Festival Parade powered by VisitLEX. For the first time ever, Lexington will have a Pride Parade as part of the Pride Festival activities. The annual Fourth of July parade down Main Street will feature traditional parade fair and is great event for the entire family. The deadline for parade entries is Wednesday, June 30.
