The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) - New England will organise the India Day Parade to commemorate India’s 76th Independence Day on August 13 at Boston Harbor with the starting point at Langone Park. IAGB, as a unifying and largest Indian diaspora entity in the New England region, has been lacking in establishing the connects with local US and India government/leadership. Washington, Aug 8 (PTI) In one-of-its-kind celebrations, the 75th anniversary of India's Independence will be observed in Boston with participation from 32 countries and will feature an airplane carrying a 220-feet US-India flag over the major American city. The Indian community in Boston gathered at the historic Boston Harbor to celebrate India’s Independence Day with the annual India Day Parade. The event, filled with patriotism and a strong sense of community, highlighted the shared values of freedom, democracy, and unity. For the past several decades, IAGB has been celebrating India Day to commemorate India’s Independence and celebrate Indian American’s rich culture and traditions, with utmost vigor and grandeur. The celebration typically draws crowds of thousands, bringing everyone together with a vibrant display of Indian pride and heritage in the heart of Boston.
