Getting around Catonsville on July 4th can be a challenge! Due to the special events taking place that day, many of the roads are closed and detours are abundant. The map shows a basic version of the parade route. The parade begins at Montrose Ave. and finishes at Ingleside/Bloomsbury Ave. Be sure to allow plenty of time to get to your location. The parade and Fourth of July celebration in Catonsville is also home to one of the biggest fireworks displays in the state of Maryland. Prohibited items: Silly string, water pistols/guns, super-soakers, water balloons and other devices that propel water from parade entry.
