BOSTON (WHDH) - July 4th is having a major impact on traffic in the Boston area. Storrow Drive westbound from Leverett Circle to Kenmore Square will be closed to traffic. Special events taking place as part of the City of Boston’s annual July 4th celebration will require that vehicle traffic is prohibited and parking is restricted on select local streets in Boston. People coming into the City to enjoy the festivities are strongly encouraged not to drive their personal vehicles.
