We will be open to the public featuring as an exciting extension of the Atwater Parade Grounds Festival. Stay, stroll through or grab a brew at The Tarmac Event Venue, the biggest beer garden yet! After the city hired a full-time recreation director in 1972, Bill turned to officiating youth basketball and football. Somehow, between teaching all day, administering city sports and recreation programs, and officiating, not to mention raising a family, Bill found time to help plan and organize Atwater’s 4th of July celebration. Gustine’s Fourth • The City of Gustine will present its annual 4th of July parade at 10:30 a.m. Friday in downtown, followed by the “Independence Day in the Park” celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Henry Miller Park. That event will include food vendors, fun booths, live music and a corn hole tournament. Time: 9-4 p.m. The Atwater 4th of July Parade is at 9 a.m. at Ralston Park followed by the 4th of July Festival. Then at 6 p.m., enjoy the fireworks at the Castle Air Base parade grounds.
