Public viewing areas to watch the show include Aquatic Park, Pier 39, and the Pier 43 walkway. These areas will be closed to the public ahead of the fireworks show: Jefferson Street between Hyde and Powell streets will close to vehicle traffic starting at approximately 4 p.m. You can watch the 4th of July fireworks at several top locations in San Francisco, including Pier 39, Treasure Island, Twin Peaks, Crissy Field, and Bernal Heights Park.
