From fireworks to parades and reenactments, here's where to celebrate Independence Day around Richmond this year. Celebrate July 4 at The Diamond one last time. The Richmond Flying Squirrels will celebrate a little early this year with massive, in-your-face fireworks on July 2 and an Independence Day dueling Celebrate the Fourth of July in Richmond with baseball games, live music, fireworks, and historical reenactments. Highlights include the Richmond Flying Squirrels game, Dogwood Dell's free concert, Kings Dominion's fireworks, and events at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, and more.
