Genting SkyWorlds opened in February 2022 in Malaysia. It was originally supposed to be called 20th Century Fox World Malaysia however Disney bought Curiously, numerous other 20th Century Studios properties such as Planet of the Apes, Night at the Museum, Independence Day, Rio, and Ice Age were allowed to remain. Fox's Fantastic Four and X-Men will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they remain off-limits to Disney for theme park use in Florida, due to Marvel's contract with Universal Orlando.
