MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Independence Day celebration is intended to help families make memories of a special event and keep them coming back for more. As we enter the Fourth of July weekend in 2024, here's where you can find festivals and fireworks shows around the region. 🎆 Even More Fun This 4th of July! 🇺🇸 We're excited to announce two new additions to our 4th of July Celebration in historic Smythe Park: There will be lots of booms and flashes of color in skies across Northeast and Central Pennsylvania this 4th of July. The Fourth of July is right around the corner and there are plenty of events planned to celebrate in the Tri-Cities. Below are events happening throughout the region on or near the Fourth of July. A spectacular fireworks display over Smythe Lake will begin at 9:15 p.m. On Tuesday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a poolside celebration and cookout at Pierce Park Pool and Pavilion. Please arrive early for a good spot. Bradford County Troy: Troy Vets Club, July 3 after dark A mini carnival will start at 5 p.m. Tioga County, Pennsylvania Mansfield: Smythe Park, July 4 at dusk Kid’s Kick-off will start at 5 p.m The 4th of July Celebration in Mansfield is a free family friendly event located in downtown Mansfield PA at Smythe Park Fireworks at dusk. This year’s theme is “Thankful for our Red, White, and Blue Small Towns.” After the parade, community members are invited to Smythe Park and the surrounding area for a variety of activities until dark. Beginning at noon, vendors will be set up again in Smythe Park Tioga County, New York, will see celebrations begin early in Candor, where fireworks are planned for July 3 at dusk at McNeil Pavilion and Ballfield. Tioga Downs in Nichols will host a show on July 4, following an evening of live horse racing. In Tioga County, Pennsylvania, Mansfield will mark the holiday with fireworks on July 4 at dusk in Smythe Park. Wellsboro will wrap up the weekend with Vendors will also be set up in Smythe Park throughout the evening to offer a variety of goods and activities, including food, games, crafts and visits with horses. On Daniel Island, July 4th is my favorite holiday! Through the years we have enjoyed the annual golf cart parade, concerts, fireworks and other festivities. I’ll never forget the year when paratroopers descended into Etiwan Park. We’ve had so many great memories! The planning has been underway for tonight’s festivities at Smythe Park for over a week. The Lions Club will be grilling chickens for pick up at 10:00 in Smythe Park followed by the exciting Main Street Parade at 11:00. Join friends and bring lawn chairs to enjoy Gabe Stillman's dynamic performance on July 4th at 6 pm at historic Smythe Park in Mansfield. This complimentary concert promises to be an unforgettable experience.
