Garner July 3 Independence Day Celebration: Garner is hosting its Independence Day Celebration from 5-10 p.m. with fireworks following a performance by the North Carolina Symphony. A handful of towns in the Triangle are kicking off Fourth of July festivities a day early, attributing vendor availability, financial reasons and proximity to larger festivities to making early GARNER The Garner Independence Celebration will take place July 3 at Lake Benson Park, 921 Buffaloe Road. Gates open at 5 p.m. On-site Parking: Parking on site at Lake Benson Park (921 Buffaloe Rd, Garner, NC 27529) is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Shuttle Service: A free shuttle service starting at 5pm from South Garner High School (8228 Hebron Church Rd, Garner, NC 27529) will be provided. The last pick-up from South Garner High School will be at 8:45pm. RALEIGH, N.C.
