LC- The Oregonian Seaside 4th of July Fireworks Celebration Seaside hosts one of the largest official fireworks shows on the West Coast each Independence Day right on the beach next to the Pacific Ocean. On July 3 enjoy a free concert of patriotic standards of yesteryear 7 p.m. Thursday, at the Liberty Theater. The Fourth of July promises a parade, car show, barbecue and more in downtown Warrenton With one of the largest celebrations on the North Coast, Rockaway Beach is the place to be on July 4. Starting with the Independence Parade at 11 a.m., the day’s festivities include a bake sale, dachshund races, and a flyover by the National Guard. When it gets dark, around 10 p.m., head to the Ocean’s Edge Wayside or Rockaway beaches for a spectacular fireworks display to cap the holiday fun. Fourth of July Fireworks Over Yaquina Bay Newport’s annual fireworks display over Yaquina Bay returns on the evening of July 4. Beginning at dusk, large mortar rounds are launched over the water, lighting up the sky with color and sound.
