NYC’s most dazzling 4th of July fireworks show is set to return to the East River this year. Per Macy’s website, they’ll soon be releasing information about the best public places to watch the 4th of July fireworks, which are expected to kick off at 9:25 p.m. The Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks will be launched from barges in the East River beside Brooklyn Bridge Park. For safety and security, there will be significant impacts to Brooklyn Bridge Park operations and the surrounding neighborhoods. After heading to the Hudson River in 2024, the Macy’s 4th of July fireworks are returning to the East River this year. NBC New York’s Gaby Acevedo reports.
