The 4 th of July Metric Century Plus is the premier one day cycling event for Northern Illinois. We offer a variety of ride distances on some of the best roads in the area. Joliet Bicycle Club puts on three great rides each yearCED/Sudden Century Ride May 1, in which riders get to cycle around the Chicagoland Speedway NASCAR track: Fourth of July Ride, and the 7-day Around Illinois Back Roads in August. This is a recreational riding club.
