The Edina 4th of July Parade, organized by the Edina Community Foundation and presented by Explore Edina, will return Friday, July 4. Here’s what to know for this year’s celebration. Excited for the 4th of July? We are, too! Here's what you should know to be ready to celebrate on Friday ⛈️ In the case of inclement weather on the day of, check EdinaMN.gov/July4th for updates. One important thing to note: this year the 4th of July falls on a Sunday. When that happens, we hold the parade on the 3rd because the staging area and parade route affect two Edina churches. The Edina 4th of July Parade attracts as many as 20,000 people to watch marching bands, floats and community groups pass by. Chairs and blankets can be set out along the route in advance but please keep them off the sidewalk so they do not block access for people using wheelchairs, powered scooters or other mobility devices.
