Once again, there's no shortage of Fourth of July fun to be had in Desoto County. Events will offer everything from fireworks to food trucks, live music to lots of family-friendly patriotic fun. Here are four events to help you celebrate the 2025 Independence Day holiday in Desoto County. One of the longest-running traditions takes place in DeSoto. The annual 4th of July parade will take place, spearheaded by the DeSoto Chamber of Commerce. DeSoto City Manager Todd Melkus says this event has always been popular. The fireworks display will again be held on the DeSoto High School campus around 9:15.
