Each Friday night, July though September, celebrate the magic of music under the starlit sky. Come and experience the soul-stirring rhythms and grooves that resonate through our free concerts held in the serene setting of Athens Riverfront Park. Each year citizens gather together with friends and family to celebrate the 4th of July at various events and outings. This year will be no different with a wide swath of entertainment available in the area from July 3rd all the way to July 6th. Athens will celebrate the Fourth of July on June 28th. With an array of entertainment and fun, there’s something for the whole family. The Independence Day celebration will take place at Southeast Clarke Park on Saturday, June 28th. There will be free activities including carnival rides, face painting, inflatables, a photo booth, and more. This July 4th, Athens lights up with spectacular fireworks shows, festive parades, live music, and family-friendly fun.
