WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — As America gears up to celebrate its 249th birthday, several fireworks shows are planned to take place across the DMV, lighting up the skies of the nation’s capital. Although people travel far and wide to watch the fireworks along the National Mall in Washington, D.C We have officially made it halfway through 2025! From star-studded concerts to Fourth of July fireworks, the second half of the year is set to be a memorable one. Here are 14 events you should consider attending in July. July 2–7 Smithsonian Folklife Festival Immerse yourself in the Smithsonian’s annual Folklife Festival.
